Just a word of warning, people. The Palar Challenge is a hard-core off-roading event. If you come in expecting a picnic and a laid-back drive, your sore butts and walloped vehicles will tell you otherwise.

It's going to be tough, it's going to be hot, you are going to be tired and your vehicles are going to be put through two long and mean days. If either you or your vehicle cannot handle a beating, this one's not for you.

The Palar Challenge is not a weekend getaway, it's a weekend challenge.
